Superintendent Newell visited Principal White and the staff and students at School 27.  Dr. Newell wished everyone a successful school year!

100th Day of School

Hooray Hooray it’s the 100th Day! Our students in grades Pre-K to Five celebrated the 100th day of school by dressing up as senior ladies and gentlemen. Our “senior citizens” also participated in several thematic language arts and mathematics activities.

Donuts with the Principal

On Friday, September 22 Public School #27 parents were invited to a kick-off welcoming Parent Teacher Association Event. Principal Kelli A. White greeted approximately eighty-five parents. Parents who attended were treated to coffee, tea, juice and delicious donuts and pastries. The goal of the event was for Principal White to welcome parents and invite them to become members of the school's PTA. Principal White stated that the value of parental involvement in children's social and emotional growth. Principal White reminded parents that every child matters and every moment counts in Public School #27's culture of caring environment. The hugely successful event was organized by staff members Jennifer Jaworowski, Denise Morales, Toni Patullo, Carmine Pindilli, and Penny Torres.
