SCHOOL WIDE AUTISM WALK
WEDNESDAY APRIL 2
We will have a weeklong of spirit activities to promote Autism Awareness. beginning April 1st. Students are asked to bring $1.00 on Wednesday, April 2. All money will be donated to an organization that funds activities for children and young adults living with Autism.
On Friday, September 22 Public School #27 parents were invited to a kick-off welcoming Parent Teacher Association Event. Principal Kelli A. White greeted approximately eighty-five parents. Parents who attended were treated to coffee, tea, juice and delicious donuts and pastries. The goal of the event was for Principal White to welcome parents and invite them to become members of the school's PTA. Principal White stated that the value of parental involvement in children's social and emotional growth. Principal White reminded parents that every child matters and every moment counts in Public School #27's culture of caring environment. The hugely successful event was organized by staff members Jennifer Jaworowski, Denise Morales, Toni Patullo, Carmine Pindilli, and Penny Torres.
